Kendrick Lamar to Perform ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ with National Symphony Orchestra

Kendrick Lamar has revealed that he will be doing a special performance of To Pimp a Butterfly with the National Symphony Orchestra. This one-time special performance will take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. October 20. “The music that you’re going to hear is going to be a cross section of things that he has done—and things you probably haven’t heard him do live,” said the National Symphony Orchestra artistic administrator Justin Ellis on the upcoming show. Dr Dre announces new album and releases tracklist

After 16 years, Dr. Dre is back! “Compton: The Soundtrack” will be released exclusively through Apple Music on Friday, August 7. The album consist of 16 tracks with featuring appearances from names like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Xxzibit, Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar and Jill Scoot. As for the long-awaited Detox album, Dre said, “The reason ‘Detox’ didn’t come out was because I didn’t like it …. I couldn’t do that to my fans, and I couldn’t do that to myself… I just wasn’t feeling it.”
